Evening Sail

For those of you that missed out on one of the most fun fundraisers we have had to date, well enjoy the following pictures.  We spent the afternoon at Texas U Can Paint with a bunch of awesome friends and family to paint "Evening Sail".  If you have never done this type of thing, I highly recommend it and if you are in this area I would highly recommend Texas U Can Paint in Southlake.  Great times

Daddy of the Year

Yes, Roger Brooks is officially Daddy of the Year!  Olivia had been begging me for a pedicure for days.  I told her sorry, I only do pedicures on the weekend!  So after much persistence, she convinced her Daddy to paint them for her.  What do you think?  Not bad, right?  I tried to tell him less is more, that it was never going to dry, that it is not how you paint nails, but he ever so nicely told me to shut it.  Another happy customer

Texas U Can Paint

New Rides!

Yes!  It's bikes for everyone!  Santa brought Livi her bike for Christmas, and then sent Juliana hers through a very special helper Mr. Silver from the Ambucs organization.

NYE 2012

So this year, Roger and I realized we had NO NYE plans.  Nothing at all.  So we decided to make our own plans.  We went out for our traditional German dinner at Gerhard's.  Then we came home and told the girls that they could stay up if they wanted to ring in the New Year.  They were very excited to be included in the festivities.  Here is a time line of how things went down:

9pm - Let's get crazy and start the night off with manicures!  Woo Hoo!  Santa brought us these amazing new colors and Girl Power nail stickers!  So here we go!

10:00pm  - Still going strong and very excited!

 10:45 - Ok, not as excited, but still awake!

 11:15pm - Ahhhh!  So shocked we are all still away.  Come on we can make it just 45 more minutes!

Okay, here we are at 11:30pm.  Watching some Mickey Mouse (had to get out the big guns) and Liv decided that she would do a sticker mosaic at this wild and crazy party.  We are almost there!

 11:40pm - I think we are gonna make it!  I really do!

 11:45pm - Sticker Mosaic finished!

 And 11:47pm we are down for the count.  There was waking her up.  Oh well, maybe next year.
