Dear Santa Part II

And in part two of "Santa sent an email" I asked Olivia this morning if she had given any more thought to the email from Santa and she said confidently "Yes."  Okay, what is it? To which she says, "I am just going to think that I am getting presents because if I think I won't get presents then I won't and if I think I will, I will get presents." So she's totally I immune to my tactics but on the plus side I hope she always holds onto that power of positive thinking.

Dear Santa - Part I

So, we have been having some major discipline issues with Olivia lately.  Ok, maybe not major, but not typical for our kid.  She has just been whiny to the extreme.  Questioning every decision or repeating "please" one million times every time I say no to one of her requests.  Despite my constant reminder that Santa was watching, she continued.  So I decided Santa needed to get involved.  Fortunately he had time to send the following email.  And fortunately Olivia knows how to read well enough to read it to herself.

I'm thinking this is it!  This is going to get her! Wrong.  She was pretty much unfazed.  And apparently my lesson on probability paid off because right after she read it she says "how many more days till Christmas?!?!" And I said why are you so excited, you may not be getting anything!" To which she responded "Mommy it's not CERTAIN that I won't get anything just POSSIBLE" way to use that vocab!

A New TV Era

Feeling amazing right now. I think we have finally turned te tv corner with Juliana. We have graduated from nothing but Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to the regular Disney channel where we have been enjoying Jesse, Good Luck Charlie and Dog with a Blog. It's like a whole new world. I have escaped my Mickey prison I have been in for 7 years!!!!

Cuddles with Chloe and Camping

Man can this dog cuddle.  We are so happy to have a dog like this that the girls can grow up with and love on.  The dog lives for affection.

 And this is how the Brooks' go camping.  Indoors and with all modern conveniences.

EL Saber Christmas Party

 Had a wonderful time at my 1st EL Saber Christmas Party.  Couldn't ask for better ladies to work for.

Juliana Loses her 1st Tooth

 Well at a the ripe old age of 7 Juliana loses her first tooth!  Olivia is very jealous and is feverishly working on her own teeth now.

Auf Wiedersehen

And as they say, all good things must come to an end, so has our visit with the Germans.  This was our last night.  One last prost!

 And on the last day we decided to take the girls out of school and see them off at the airport
