Going to El Paso

I can't believe the time has come for the 1st Annual El Paso Angel's of Faith Golf Tournament!  Liv wanted to help me get ready so she made out list of things we needed to pack. 

 Of course you can't forget the "Panhes" aka Panties or the "Sweat Shits".

 So we land and after a bit of a debacle at the car rental place finally get our car and go get settled in the hotel.  We decide we will just eat at Monteleone's, because (a) it's delicious and (b) we had offered to work at the restaurant that night so Gary could go set up for the golf event the next day.  So I've been a waitress before and dare I say a pretty good one I think.  So I started off with one table of four.  I went in a little nervous, not having done this in about 10 years, but it's ok.  Before I know it, they are seating me another table of 5 and another table of 2!  That is when I jumped ship, grabbed my girls and through the ticket book at Roger and Linda who took over my table.  It's not only that I thought I would suck at waiting tables, it's also that it is a small cozy restaurant and between Olivia running around and Juliana's wheel chair and computer we were really in the way.  So the girls and I went to eat at another El Paso favorite - Chico's Taco's.  Check out this line - And it's ALWAYS like this!

 Juj was happy!  And ready to try this El Paso cult favorite!

 YUMMY!!!!!!  All I can say!  If you've never had this treat it consists of 3 very plain ground beef rolled tacos, with government grade cheese (not sure it's actually cheese) and a spicy tomato salsa.  So you let your tacos get soggy and voila!  And then, when your tacos are gone, the fun doesn't stop.  Then you get to put your crinkle cut french fries, yes french fries with tacos, in the same gooey slop.  Oh Chico's how I've miss thee.

So thankfully after we had dinner Monteleone's had slowed down, so we went to pick up our crew that had worked so hard all night.  Juliana got to say one last good bye to Auntie Laura before the big day tomorrow!

Dentist Appointment with Dr. Rozas

This was our bi-annual appointment with Dr. Rozas, the girls Dentist.  She is awesome and my children actually LOVE going to see her!  Highly recommended!

Baby Izzie's Baptism

Here we are at Baby Izzie's Baptism.  For those of you that haven't met baby Izzie she is the girls cousin!  Her name is actually Isabella but Olivia quickly decided we should call her baby Izzie.  Unfortunately you won't get to meet her here, because despite the fact that this is a post about her baptism we have failed as photographers!  We didn't get a single picture of her that day.  So here is what we did get - Juj with Uncle Eddie

The Circus is in Town

Just a few shots from this years' Barnum and Bailey's Circus!  So much fun - we loved it!  Here is Juliana with her bedazzled disco bunny hat she had to wear to the circus.  Thank you Omi and Auntie Laura!

And here is Juliana afterwards.  I think she liked it!  And yes we have another daughter, and yes she also went to the circus and yes she also loved it.  Too bad we didn't get a single picture of her that night.  Way to go, parents of the year!

Sticker Program Prize Redemption - Shopping

Shopping at Toysrus!  And yes, my friends, my little girls are growing up!  We go to a toy store with any toy you can dream of and my girls choose an umbrella and a purse!  Whatever makes you happy!

Super Summer Science - Take 4 - Cloud Dough



Today we made Cloud Dough!  I would change the name to Beach Sand!  So cool and all you need is flour and baby oil!

 Add the oil and then mix it together

 It smells amazing and and it actually feels like beach sand.  You can mold it together like beach sand and make castles or whatever you want to make.  We did make a little bit of a mess but it was worth it!

Olivia-isms

So, this post all started with a discussion Roger and I had.  There are several things that Olivia says "incorrectly" that I find completely adorable.  And I must admit I don't correct her.  Why?  You might be asking.  Because she is growing so fast and I want to enjoy these little things for as long as possible.  I know she can't say aminals forever but I am going to enjoy it while I can.  So here is a list of my favorite Olivia-isms along with a short video capturing just 3 of them:

1. I made the mistake one time while joking around with her I said "Why I oughta!!!!" and she how now adopted the phrase "Why Why Oughta!!!!"
2. Trash Cans are now Crash Cans
3. Desserts are Zesserts
4. Animals are Aminals
5. Chihuahuas are Chicka-wow-was
6. Instead of referring to your offspring as daughters, she calls them sweeties.  As in she and Juliana are my sweeties and one day she will have sweeties of her own and her baby dolls are her sweeties
7. Instead of referring to her toes as piggies she has a family.  The big toe is the daddy toe, the second one is the mommy toe and the other three are the sweeties.  You can't help but laugh when she stubs her toes and she screams "It's the MOMMY TOE!!!!!!"  And I always say, "No NOT THE MOMMY TOE!!!!"
8. Yestermorning.  I think we should start using this expression more often.  It means just what it says, yesterday in the morning.
9. Instead of gravity she has gravily.
