I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!!!!! Can you believe North Texas weather? Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful day with temperatures at 74 degrees. This morning we woke up to temperatures in the 30's and yes ladies and gentlemen SNOW!!!!!!!!

Here is a picture around noon:

This one is from around 3:00pm
And this was around 8pm. It sure made for a great baking day and a cozy Christmas Eve!

A Girl's Got to Love her Jimmy Choo's

Okay, so they aren't actually Jimmy Choo's, but pretty close. These are her Stride Ride red patent leather mary janes, and she absolutely adores them. The fact that they are at least half a size to small, doesn't seem to bother her at all. What does bother her is that in her footie pajamas she is unable to wedge her chunky foot into them. So what's a girl to do, but sacrifice the pajamas for the shoes.

By the way, Barbara, if you are reading, you should probably check with Uncle Jim and see if Jimmy Choo makes them her size - ha ha.

And here is our Juliana, who is perfectly content in her footie pajamas.

Cookie Time!

This was a few days ago at Aunt Linda's house. It was cookie baking time and the Brooks Babes were ready in their baking gear.
Here is Gabbi and Natalia
Here is Andrew making his award winning cookie
Are we sampling the frosting now?
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure the sampling went better than the actual decorating.

Happy Birthday Risa!

This month is Olivia's bff Marisa's birthday, so Olivia decided to take her out to her favorite place - Incredible Pizza. Happy Birthday Risa!!!! We love ya!

Here is Juliana taking off in her jet!
As always, anything Juju does, Livi has to try next.
Here is Livi on the Carousel. I love the image in the mirror!
I guess Risa couldn't resist. You're never too old to go on the carousel.

Our Children's House Christmas Party

Last week Juliana invited us to her Christmas Party at her school, Our Children's House. We all had a blast.

Here is Juliana playing the bean bag toss with her therapist Bobbi.

Livi thinks she wants to give this whole bean bag thing a try.

Then we were off to visit Santa and his reindeer (therapy dog). Juju and Santa go way back, but Livi still is not sure about Santa. Maybe her behavior has something to do with it.

After Santa, we moved onto the cake walk. Here is Juliana cheering on Olivia. She is the best cheer leader!

Here is Livi trying so hard to land on the right symbol and win the cake!

She finally did end up winning a beautiful poinsettia cake that she picked out herself. Too bad we didn't get a picture of it.

North Pole Express!

This weekend we traveled from Grapevine, TX all the way to see Santa Claus on the North Pole Express. We had a blast!

Here is Olivia with Frosty the Snow man. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. I think Frosty has a very smiley soul!

Here she is with Rudoph. She just doesn't trust those reindeer for some reason.

Here we are waiting for the show to begin. . .
Yes, that is Juliana sleeping. Luckily she did wake up in time for the show.
Here she is awake. And yes, that little pink glove pinching Juliana's cheek is Olivia. She just can't help herself around those irresistible cheeks
This is a new friend that Olivia made that night. Isn't she a doll.
Here is Olivia taking the stage to sing Jingle Bells. This is before the big girls decided to stand right in front of my little one year old daughter.
Yes, those are the mean girls that stood right in front of my little angel. Lucky for Olivia, one of the performers decided to pick her up.
Here is Olivia when we went through the snow machine. She was so amazed. That tells you how much snow we get in Texas.
Here is Daddy and Juliana when the train took off!
OMG!!!!! It's Santa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And here we are watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the North Pole Express. Polar Express Tickets . . . . $48. Time waiting in line for Polar Express. . . . 1 hour. Hot Coco and Cider while waiting . . . .$10. Being able to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to avoid a melt down while Santa is in your train car. . . . Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
