I would just like to start off by saying - MY BABY GOT SKILLS! This child found a pair of black patent leather Mary Janes and decided she was Shirley Temple. We did take her to a tap show about 3 months ago, is it possible that she remembered the entire routine? Well, you be the judge.

By the way, I should warn you. I am not savvy enough to know how to flip the video, so you will either have to tilt your head or your computer, whichever is easier for you.

Livi's Turns 2 - Take One!

So, as many of you know, Olivia is a Leap Year baby, so technically she doesn't have a "real" birthday this year. But today we decided to celebrate anyway at the park with some of her friends. Unfortunately for us, the warm weather I ordered didn't come in. But the kids didn't seem to matter. Here is Livi arriving at her party. So, once again Omi wins the prize for finding Juliana the BEST shoes in the world. Look how excited she looks in her new kicks!

Yes, they are Sketchers, yes they are pink and yes they are BEDAZZLED! They are even high enough that you can't see her SMO's!

Surprise OMI!!!

So, this past weekend Olivia and I had the pleasure of surprising my mom for her 70th birthday. Yes, I said 70! I know, she doesn't look like she could possibly 70, but she is. I hope I inherited those genes! She had no idea we were coming and we had a blast. We arrived Sunday morning and she was out to eat with her "Breakfast Club". When we arrived, I instructed Olivia to go and find Omi and she did awesome. She marched right over like she exactly where she was. Here is a video from that moment.

Here is a picture immediately following the video. Can you tell that she still can't believe we are there! These are the El Paso version of Sprinkles that my brother Ray sent her! They were YUMMY!

Here is Olivia meeting her new cousin Layla. She was so excited to meet her that started acting like a dog herself. I think she is just amazed when a dog is nice to her since our dog/grouch Casey is so mean.

Cupid Has Arrived!

Yes - Cupid arrived a day early for the Brooks' Sweethearts. First Uncle Danny came over delivering all sorts of goodies including some sweet little puppies, marshmallow cats (these were Olivia's favorite!) and all kinds of chocolates!

Then while the girls were taking a bath, Cupid struck again! Auntie Linda & Gabbi stopped by to deliver these sweet treats. Lots of good books and of course some chocolates.

We are so lucky to have so many people that love our little sweethearts as much they do. Happy Valentine's Day!
